  1. Opera Girl,
I really love your voice. I followed this link from a post of yours on naturalnews.com. I’m a university trained musician who is not really a large fan of opera. However, I really like how you’ve developed your voice. You remind me a little of Elisabeth Fraser who sang in a band called Cocteau Twins. In other words, technically skilled but with a fresh style that would definitely catch the attention of a lot of people who feel that a lot of opera singers sound too much alike.
Do you ever sing any Renaissance music? I’d love to hear it.
I listened to the Handel and loved it. Do you have any information on your training and your musical philosophies on your site?
I wish you the best in all your endeavors!
I’ll definitely be checking in again to your site to hear more.

    • Wow, thanks so much for your thoughtful comment!

I do not have much info regarding my training up on the site as yet, but within the year I plan to launch another website with my resume, bio, and some audio and video samples as well. I will certainly post the URL in the “Opera Girl Sings” portion of this site when it’s up and running!

    Hey there OGC!

I just stumbled upon your blog (whilst looking for Chez Panisse Green Goddess dressing recipe, no less…) and really enjoyed your posts.

Like you, I am a classically trained vocalist, though now I am older(53) and just perform for my husband and friends at home. And like you, I love to cook!

I just wanted to wish you well, tell you I enjoyed your recordings and hope to see your name in the Opera News one of these days!

If you are doing another recital, we would love to come and hear you–we are close by the Bay.

Take care and best of luck to you!
